A few changes

This weekend had quite a few changes that push you closer and closer to the dreaded "big boy" category.  I had already decided when we ran out of formula we would switch you over to whole milk....this happened on Sunday. You had your last formula bottle on Saturday evening. When I gave you the bottle of milk yesterday morning, you gulped it down like any other day!  As the morning progressed, I started wondering how I would start weaning you off the bottle and decided to try to see how long you could go without having one. With each of your meals I gave you milk in a sippy cup and you seemed perfectly content. So, needless to say, you only had ONE bottle yesterday!!! In addition to that, I know weaning you off the paci is going to be coming up so I started only giving it to you during nap/bed time, and again, you did awesome!!!! Plus you were jabbering nonstop!!  After breakfast, you pulled up to your walk-and-ride toy and started pushing it around--needless to say I was in awe!! You were walking all over the living room and down the hallway....luckily, I was able to record you doing it!  What a big boy you're becoming in such a short amount of time!!! I also noticed during one of the many times you were laughing so hard yesterday that you have TWO teeth trying to break the surface!!! I cannot believe you will be one year old on Friday!!! This year has absolutely flown by and I have to be honest---you not being an only child has definitely been a struggle for me, as a mommy, to be able to give you undivided attention that I so desperately want to. I do my very best to have one-on-one time with you and I absolutely love every second of it.  It's so interesting to me to watch your little personality developing and I love to just sit and watch you carry out your thought processes. I love you, little man!
