Thanksgiving 2009

This year for Thanksgiving we cooked a feast at home and Grandma came over to join us. Daddy deep-fried a turkey and I cooked a ham, green bean casserole, hashbrown casserole, sweet potato casserole, homemade buttermilk rolls, pecan pie, pumpkin pie and apple pie. You devoured anything and everything put on your tray!!

On "Black Friday" (day after Thanksgiving), we went to our usual Christmas Tree Farm (Schilling's in Jacksonville--this was our fourth year to make the trip) to cut down our christmas tree. You just enjoyed being able to roam around freely and you even managed to get a taste of the dirt! :-) After Daddy cut down the tree we went home to decorate it. You could've cared less about actually hanging ornaments but you LOVED to take them off of the tree!! So far, though, you haven't really tried to mess with it much--you'll go up to it to look at the "balls" but that's about it.....
