Happy 2nd birthday, baby boy!!

It's so cliche, I know...but time really has flown by. Everything is so much different the second time around, yet still the same. There's just less time to spend one-on-one sometimes which makes the times I am able to do that so much sweeter!  It's so bittersweet that you're 2 now!! Not quite a baby yet not quite fully independent yet! Since your birthday always falls on the 4th of July holiday weekend, I decided to have your actual party with all of your friends a couple of weeks after your birthday...that doesn't mean we didn't have a celebration, though!! We had a small family thing at our house with the 4 of us and Grandma. I tried to get a picture of you showing "2" with your fingers but you couldn't quite do it so I had you hold up your "2" candle instead--you're such a little clown. Your "party" was complete with balloons and cake and tons of presents; your day was pretty special. As usual, Dad & I went overboard on your presents and towards the end of opening them, you couldn't have cared less--hence the "meltdown"!! You had a Sesame Street birthday cake from Kroger that you absolutely loved and devoured!! Here are some of the pics from your special day.
