Peabody Park Playdate

On July 24th we had a playdate with Callie and "Aunt Brooke" at Peabody Park in downtown Little Rock. We met up with them around 10 and stayed until lunch time. It was the first time the three of us had ever been but Aunt B and Cal-Cal (or Callie Ganae as Harlee calls her--her middle name is Lanae) have been before. The favorite seemed to be the water park area with the built-in water spouts although you were just content walking around checking everything out. You did slip and fall and hit the back of your head on a rock but you are definitely my little trooper and only cried for a little while. After the water park area, we walked around and explored--there is a tunnel you guys liked running in and they have a play area but it's more geared for bigger kids. We took lots of pictures of our fun time!! As an added bonus for the weekend, you and Harlee got your first treat from the "ice cream truck"--he came down on our street and I heard the music playing just in time to get some money for you guys out of your banks (well, out of Harlee's bank--she said she would buy you a treat); you each got a cotton candy popsicle. You were more interested in laying it down on the back steps than eating it (you don't care too much for ice cream--think you don't like the coldness) but it was still great fun making memories!!
